Setting His Sights on U.S. Mountain Running Championships

Max, the ultimate weekend warrior, works his job during the week and wins races on the weekend. Last weekend, on June 13^th, he dominated the field at the USA Half Marathon Trail Championships in his hometown of Bend, OR. The home crowd cheered him on as he smashed the previous record by three minutes with finish time of 1 hour, 10 minutes, 53 seconds. View the clip from the local Bend news station here.

This coming weekend, Max heads to New Hampshire to compete in U.S. Mountain Running Championships at the Mount Washington Road Race. He’s hoping to do well and grab one of the six men’s spots on the U.S. Mountain Running Team. If all goes his way, Max will be travelling with the U.S. team to Kamnik, Slovenia to compete in the 26^th Annual World Mountain Running Championships on Sunday, September 5^th.
