Here at Montrail we often find ourselves looking ahead to the weekend and thinking about the next long run or big race. Fortunately, there’s plenty weekends in the year! This weekend features a few big races for a couple Montrail athletes:
Geoff Roes will head down to Atlanta to test himself on new terrain in the North Face Endurance Challenge 50 Miler. This race feature technical single track trails with water crossings and plenty of climbs and descents. Sounds like something Geoff might excel on. Good luck!
Sean Meissner is down in Chile! That’s right, South America. He’s racing the Ultramaraton de Los Andes, a tough 80km trail run in the Andes, outside of Santiago. Sean will test himself on some big climbs and is looking to have a solid race overall. Buena suerte Sean!
Finally, out in Pennsylvania, Montrail is sponsoring the Oil Creek Trail Runs, featuring a 100 mile, 100km and 50km distance, all of which are sold out. This is the 2nd year of these ultramarathons and the races have proven to be fun, challenging and very rewarding for those who can endure.
