Montrail and the Weekend Ahead

by Montrail on November 2, 2010

Okay okay, we know it’s been a while since our last post.  Apologies for that, but we were busy up in Sunriver, Oregon at the Fall 2011 Montrail and Mountain Hardwear global sales meeting.  There’s no time to blog when you have 4 world class Montrail athletes in attendance, 5 global Mountain Hardwear athletes, snow and rain, one early morning trail race, 6 rooms full of amazing new product, two excellent movie nights and one raging 80′s ski party.  See the photos for a taste of the action:

Now the fun is over and…more fun is on the way!  This weekend we head to Virginia for the 27th running of the Mountain Masochist 50 miler.  The race is full, as usual, and the weather looks to be perfect, clear and cool.  Good luck to Jill Perry and everyone running MMTR on Saturday.  This is the 4th event in the Montrail Ultra Cup series.

Also on Saturday is the Lithia Loop Trail Marathon in Ashland, Oregon, sponsored by Montrail.  This year LLTM is the USATF Trail Marathon championship.  Luanne Park will be there, and so will Max King, wearing his Rogue Racers and racing for the win.  Good luck Max!

And then there’s that little race out east, you know, the NY Marathon, where a bunch of silly road runners race through the 5 boroughs of New York City.  Silly road runners.

And speaking of silly road runners, good luck to Ellie Greenwood, who is more commonly found blazing the trails, as she heads to Gibraltar for the World Championship 100km road race.  Got get em Ellie!

Happy trails!

Love Montrail gear, what are the odds of some Montrail races inthe great white north (considering 2 of your sponsored runners tore up the Canadian ultra world this summer).

And what about a grand prize draw of one lucky person getting an invite to the 2012 sales meeting. COuld be a dream trip for some runners/mountaineers.
