Max King missed out on making the US Olympic Team at the Track and Field Trials, but still had a successful evening. King’s time of 8:30.54 in the 3000 Meter Steeplechase was a personal best and was good enough for a 6th place finish in the Finals. View KDRV News Coverage on Max’s race here.

One year ago i broke my back falling off a cliff and only one man was there to keep me sane. That man was Max king and he said to me, ” don’t let setbacks get in the way of your goals.” I’ll always remember those words for the rest of my life. I hope if he does not succeed, he will continue to pursue his goals, as i did.
